My Bluebill chefs knife is a kitchen workhorse, thinly ground with a great distal taper and at only a 6in blade it is much easier for beginners to pick up and use. The knife is a perfect utility knife in the kitchen with a ton of belly and a fine tip to do any task you ask it to do. The blade is differentially heat treated and has a nice, started patina from acid etching. This will be a wonderful addition to anyone's kitchen.
