The Sanderling is my take on a small Bird and Trout/Boning knife that is just as at home opening boxes as it is breasting out a goose or a duck. A great overall size to ride in the front pocket in the leather sheath but big enough to still allows the user to get a full grip on the blade and get some serious use out of the knife. The Sanderling also excels in the kitchen, and I use my personal one as a paring and steak knife when it's not riding in my pocket. Overall, a great little knife to add to your collection that will be used more often than you think.
